Scenario
Working in a group, you will take part in a given
Community Arts project with an external organisation/partnership. A Community Arts Project should be BY, FOR AND WITH the group that you
are working with. Through
workshops, research and discussions, you will gain knowledge about the
different types of arts in the community projects that exist, as well as the
skills and roles involved in making such projects happen. You will take on a specific role, and help
to run, your own group’s community arts project, as well as analysing and
evaluating this work as you do it.
|
|||
|
Task 1
You will contribute to a specific arts project,
helping to tailor it for the specific needs of the participants. As well as contributing creatively to a
final artistic product, you will be expected to carry out other specified
roles towards the running of this project, such as facilitating workshops,
organising meetings with the client group and additional administrative tasks
that will be necessary for a successful project. Your process will be
assessed through observation by your teacher.
